Decorated is a podcast exploring the overlooked histories of interior design, blending humor, LGBTQ+ culture, and deep dives into design’s social impact.


Will Fryer teaches interior design and architecture at Parsons School of Design and NYC College of Technology, while running his design practice focused on residential and hospitality projects. He holds degrees from Parsons (MFA Interior Design), Stanford (MA Iberian and Latin American Cultures), and Columbia (BFA Comparative Literature). His research and practice explore queer space and domestic interiors, leading workshops and building archives that examine sustainable adaptive reuse and deeper connections to built environments.

Cotter Christian, IDEC, NCIDQ, is a designer, educator, and researcher exploring the intersections of interior design, placemaking, and cultural history. He is the Dean of the School of Constructed Environments at Parsons School of Design and an Associate Professor of Interior Design. His work examines how interiors shape identity, community, and experience, with publications on design, mindfulness, and spatial narratives.
